Book reviews provide the reader with information about a book. This article aims to offer those who are new to book reviewing, and thinking of undertaking one, some key points that will enable them to write a book review for journals such as JPP. It is important to bear in mind, however, that each book review will be different and there are no hard and fast rules—what is provided here are suggestions, there are no formulae that have to be used. Each review will be extremely personal and reflect the opinions of the reviewer.
