Heard so much negativity about our NHS in the news lately but my recent experience with them was second to none. A group of highly trained paramedics arrived at our property to deliver our Baby Girl Eshaal … Credit to them both mother and daughter are well and kicking

Published by Rebecca Gilroy Tax rises will be needed to ensure the NHS's future - is this the ‘long term funding plan’ promised by the government?

Rob Palmer

I don't get enough as it is to give them back £2k extra a year, need more than my 1% pay rise and a promise of decent terms of employment first.

Kristina Bognerova

Tax rises are NOT needed, why this emotional headline?? Better management, stricter rules on conditions/medicines covered by the NHS and increased self-responsibility of the general public - all these are needed! Stop all the self-entitlement by better prevention and education (starting from early age, such as first aid at schools), as well as ‘bottomless pit’ style of management in majority of the NHS trusts.

Only twice I've used IO…. IV every time for me. IO was last ditch on to hopeful causes, one manual and one gun. I was taught to find a vein. Not a fan although the younger generation think it's a smith and Wesson pistol!!

Dermot Sutton

Used it several times over the years…. great, when no immediate iv available !
